SMS Terms & Consent

Last updated: January 20, 2026

1. Opt-In

By providing your phone number and enabling SMS notifications in your RecoveryPulse account settings, you expressly consent to receive automated text messages from RecoveryPulse regarding:

  • Site downtime alerts
  • Recovery action notifications
  • Site recovery confirmations
  • Critical security alerts

You may enable SMS notifications by logging into your account, navigating to Settings > Notifications, entering your phone number, and checking the "SMS Notifications" checkbox.

2. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your monitored sites and incident activity. You will only receive messages when:

  • A monitored site goes down
  • A recovery action is executed
  • A site recovers from an incident

Typical users receive 0-10 messages per month depending on site stability. During active incidents, you may receive multiple messages in quick succession.

3. Opt-Out

You can opt out of SMS notifications at any time by:

  • Replying STOP to any message from RecoveryPulse
  • Disabling SMS in Settings > Notifications in your account
  • Contacting us at support@recoverypulse.io

After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message. You will continue to receive email notifications unless you disable those separately.

4. Help

Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or contact us.

5. Costs

Message and data rates may apply. RecoveryPulse does not charge for SMS messages, but your mobile carrier may charge standard messaging fees. Check with your carrier for details about your messaging plan.

6. Supported Carriers

SMS notifications are supported on all major US carriers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and most regional carriers. Delivery is not guaranteed and may be affected by carrier policies or network conditions.

7. Privacy

Your phone number is stored securely and used only for sending notifications you have opted into. We do not sell or share your phone number with third parties for marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy for more details.
